It was late in high school when I decided that I was going to use film as a way of communication across cultures. I have always had a heart for helping people and believe I can do so by telling the gospel through other people’s stories. It sounded weird to me at first but I quickly became captivated by the idea of the documentary genre changing the world. Many people would agree we learn most from each other’s stories. My experiences filming in different cultures have taught me that people want to learn. They want to improve their lives and are generally open to conversations on how to do so. My ultimate goal is to produce stories that challenge people into seeing the work of God. If I can find a way to get people engaged in a better lifestyle and/or create a desire to want to know more about God, I am by all means going to.
