I believe that a good story has the power to inspire change and support good culture. Storytelling has certainly influenced my life and I desire to share this experience with others. After graduating with a film degree in 2013, I moved to East Tennessee working as a videographer for a Christian mission organization. I fell in love with the mountains and people of East Tennessee and decided to explore different career paths in the region. I had no idea that I would soon find myself working at one of the country’s most prestigious luxury resorts learning the importance of quality vacations and family time. In 2019 I married my beautiful wife Sarah and we took off to the South Carolina coast where she would use her new masters degree in medicine. I stayed in the hospitality industry growing as a leader at one of the worlds most recognized hotel and resort brands. Throughout my career in hospitality I had many opportunities to train others entering the industry and soon realized that there could be a way to meld my training skills with my passion for storytelling. We moved back to Tennessee in 2022 to be closer to family and to continue exploring the place we first met. Before returning I was able to experience the power of a good workplace culture. I was fortunate enough to transition to a full time trainer facilitator role where I used story to welcome and encourage many through onboarding and service culture classes.

Because I believe in the power of storytelling, I wanted to create a space for my film productions. Some of these productions have been made over the past several years but many are from my days in school. I hope that you can learn something from the stories shared in them.
